Services Guide

Controller Servicing

Original controllers take more wear than the console itself. Buttons stick or stop registering, d-pads go mushy and analogue sticks loosen with age. A service brings them back to feeling like new.

Controller Clean & Service

Each controller is stripped down and deep cleaned, with the contacts, buttons, d-pad and any analogue sticks serviced so it responds like new.

  • Priced per controller — send in as many as you like and set the quantity in the builder.
  • Sent with your console — controllers travel in the same parcel as the rest of your order.

N64 Thumbstick Rebuild

Over the years the parts inside a Nintendo 64 thumbstick wear down, leaving it loose, sloppy and unable to hold its centre. A rebuild replaces every part that wears.

  • What we fit — a new bowl, gears and stick, regreased with lithium grease, keeping the controller's original sensor board.
  • The result — a tight, responsive stick with a firm return to centre.
  • Stick colour — choose the colour in the builder.

For original Nintendo 64 controllers (NUS-005).

With or Without a Controller Service

Add the rebuild to a Controller Clean & Service for a controller that is fully refreshed inside and out, or choose the rebuild on its own if only the stick needs attention. Prefer to do it yourself? The thumbstick rebuild kit is also sold on its own.

Return Postage

Return postage is invoiced once the work is complete. We return your console with the same Australia Post service you used to send it — if it arrived by Express, it goes back by Express.
