SERVICE TERMS & CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Please review these terms before submitting your console. They outline our warranty, charges, and responsibilities to keep things clear for everyone.

WARRANTY

Retro Craft extends a 12-month warranty on all workmanship and components supplied and installed by us.

What's Covered
  • Components supplied by Retro Craft
  • Installation and workmanship performed by Retro Craft
Customer-Supplied Parts

Where a customer provides their own components, our warranty covers installation quality only — not the performance or longevity of those parts.

Exclusions

Heavily aged or damaged hardware may not qualify for warranty coverage. Each case is assessed before service begins.

LABOUR CHARGES

Our pricing reflects the time, skill, and tooling required to do quality work. Minimum charges apply to all jobs.

Small Repairs $60 AUD min
Console Repair / Mod $120 AUD min

Where multiple services are performed on the same device, we combine labour estimates where possible.

INVOICE PAYMENT & ITEM COLLECTION

Customers have 90 days from invoice date to pay or contact us regarding any dispute. Items must be collected or return shipping arranged within this timeframe.

Unpaid or uncollected items after 90 days may be treated as abandoned property. Retro Craft reserves the right to dispose of or retain such items to recover associated costs.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Packaging

Customers are responsible for packing items securely before sending. We inspect all incoming packages for transit damage on arrival. Where appropriate, we may reuse customer packaging for the return shipment.

Return Shipping Costs
  • Customers cover all return postage, packaging, and optional insurance
  • Uninsured items lost or damaged in transit are the customer's responsibility

GENERAL DISCLAIMER

Retro Craft acknowledges that we cannot guarantee the future reliability of aging electronics. Vintage and retro hardware carries an inherent risk of unexpected component failure that is beyond our control.

Our workmanship warranty covers what we do — it does not extend to unrelated faults that may arise in other components after your service is complete.
