Is a Nintendo Switch jailbreak the same as a Switch mod?
Yes — "Switch jailbreak" and "Switch mod" refer to the same thing. We install the PicoFly hardware modchip, which is the most widely used method for modding a Nintendo Switch in Australia. We operate within Australian law and do not support software piracy in any form.
Which Nintendo Switch models can be modded?
The PicoFly modchip is compatible with the Nintendo Switch V1, V2, Lite and OLED. The Nintendo Switch 2 is not supported.
How do I send my Switch for modding in Australia?

What is PicoFly and what does it do?
PicoFly is a small hardware modchip that we solder inside your Switch. It lets the console run custom firmware, so you can use homebrew apps, back up and restore your own save data, and apply custom themes. It suits the Switch V1, V2, Lite and OLED (the Switch 2 is not supported). We install it on consoles our customers own, and Retro Craft does not support or facilitate software piracy in any form.
Can my Switch be repaired and modded at the same time?
Yes. Book the modification in the builder above, and request a repair with details of the fault. We'll combine the work into one job.
Is there a warranty on Switch mods and upgrades?
Yes. Every PicoFly install, thumbstick upgrade and reshell carries our 12-month warranty on workmanship and the parts we supply. Where you supply a part, such as a replacement shell, the warranty covers our installation only. Read our service terms.
