One compact brick to power your whole retro shelf. USB-C Power Delivery adapters are steadily replacing the heavy, failure-prone power supplies that shipped with retro consoles — and this 200 W GaN charger lets you run several of them from a single wall socket instead of cluttering a power board with individual bricks.
Built For USB-C PD Console Power
Delivers up to 200 W of total output over the USB Power Delivery (PD) protocol, with as much as 100 W available from a single port. Crucially, the PD1 port supplies a true 12 V at 3 A — the profile most USB-C retro console adapters are built around, and one that many high-wattage chargers quietly omit.
Key Features
- 200 W total output over the USB Power Delivery (PD) protocol
- Six output ports — three USB-C PD plus three Quick Charge (QC) ports
- True 12 V / 3 A on PD1 for higher-draw console adapters
- Up to 100 W from a single port (PD1 at 20 V / 5 A)
- GaN semiconductor technology — noticeably smaller and cooler-running than a conventional adapter of the same output
- Australian plug
- CE and UL certified, with built-in protection against over-current, overheating and short circuits
Output Specifications
- PD1: 5V/3A · 9V/3A · 12V/3A · 15V/3A · 20V/5A
- PD2: 5V/3A · 9V/3A · 12V/2.5A · 15V/2A · 20V/1.5A
- PD3: 5V/3A · 9V/3A · 12V/2.5A · 15V/2A · 20V/1.5A
- QC1 / QC2 / QC3: 5V/3A · 9V/2A · 12V/1.5A
Shared loads: PD1 + PD2 together deliver 45 W + 30 W. PD3 used alongside the QC ports delivers 5 V / 3 A.
Which Port For Which Console
Because the ports differ, it pays to plan what goes where:
- PD1 — reserve for higher-draw systems: Wii, Wii U, GameCube, Dreamcast and Saturn. PD1 is also the only port supplying 12 V at 3 A, so any adapter needing that full 3 A belongs here.
- PD2 and PD3 — ideal for lower-draw systems: NES, SNES, Mega Drive and TG16 / PC Engine.
Why GaN?
Gallium nitride switches far more efficiently than the silicon used in older chargers, so it wastes less energy as heat. That efficiency is what makes 200 W possible in a body this small — and it keeps the unit cool while it works.
Good to Know
Total output is shared across the ports, so the power available to any one port depends on what else is connected at the time. Every console power adapter has its own voltage and current requirement — check that yours is met by the port you plug it into. Sold as a single charger; USB-C cables are not included.
