A desktop power station for the retro shelf. Four USB-C Power Delivery ports, two USB-A ports and 270 W of total output on one compact unit — and every USB-C port supplies the 12 V / 3 A profile that USB-C console adapters are built around.

Console Compatibility

Every console power product we stock needs one of three USB-C PD profiles. Here is where this charger supplies each one:

  • 9 V — the 9 V cable and adapter versions: all four USB-C ports.
  • 12 V / 3 A — the GameCube and Wii versions, the Saturn, Dreamcast, PlayStation 1 and GameCube boards, and the N64 Pow: all four USB-C ports.
  • 15 V / 3 A — the Wii U version and the PlayStation 2 board: USB-C1, C2 and C3 (C4 tops out at 15 V / 2 A).
  • USB-A ports — A1 and A2 are 5 V only, for accessories and lighting, not for USB-C PD console adapters.

Tip: C4 is the natural home for a 9 V lead, leaving C1 to C3 free for anything needing 15 V.

Key Features

  • 270 W total output across six ports
  • Six ports — four USB-C PD plus two USB-A
  • 12 V / 3 A on every USB-C port, and 15 V / 3 A on C1 to C3
  • Up to 100 W from USB-C1
  • GaN semiconductor technology — higher efficiency, less heat and a smaller body than a conventional charger of the same output
  • Australian plug
  • CE, FCC and RoHS certified

  • USB-C3: 5V/3A · 9V/3A · 12V/3A · 15V/3A · 20V/2.25A — 45 W max
  • USB-C4: 5V/3A · 9V/3A · 12V/3A · 15V/2A · 20V/1.5A — 30 W max
  • USB-A1 / USB-A2: 5V/3A

Why GaN?

Gallium nitride switches far more efficiently than the silicon used in older chargers, so it wastes less energy as heat. That efficiency is what makes this much output possible from a compact unit — and it keeps the charger cool while it works.

Good to Know

The headline 270 W is the peak capability; with several ports in use the combined output is shared between them. Every console power adapter has its own voltage and current requirement — check that yours is met by the port you plug it into. Not sure what a port can deliver? Our USB-C PD power meter reads the real figures back. Sold as a single charger; USB-C cables are not included.
